Compliance Officer

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

  • The Compliance Officer sits within the Maintenance Team and the main objective is to focus on the maintenance of compliance on the working candidates.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the compliant status of working and active candidates, specialising in areas such as CRB forms, CV’s and references, occupational health, training, professional registration checks and appraisals (this list is not exhaustive).
  • Monitor document expiry dates for all working/active candidates using availability sheets from the Recruitment Consultants.
  • Ensure documents are received/sent out prior to documents expiring.
  • Achieve set targets and other KPI targets set. These could include call targets and maintenance targets.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health Company for Fit to Work certificates – ensure you understand what is required from our candidates.
  • Take part in candidate open days to assist in collecting documents from candidates.
  • Ensure all candidate documentation is verified. If not, contact the relevant health clinic/training company for verification.
  • Assist with preparation of files for the external audit process.
  • Chase candidates for outstanding documentation to maintain compliant files.
  • Attach documents and maintain the ITRIS database.
  • Filing of confidential documents in the appropriate way. 
  • Developing and improving internal systems and structure.
  • Any other duties deemed to be reasonable by the company.
