We are looking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist (Forensic Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry) to join a well established team.
This is a full time, permanent position (37.5 hours).
The post covers 20 patients over our two services LSU and / or Locked rehabilitation.
MDT support: Fully recruited and stable MDT (psychologists, OTs, nurses, 2 x specialty doctors).
On-calls: 1 in 4 /5 weeks

The Hospital provides low secure and rehabilitation and recovery services to 90 male patients.
They offer a wide range of specialist services for mental illness and personality disorder, including for older adults. The treatments are recovery focused and provides by an experienced multidisciplinary team. They offer a range of specific therapeutic programs and a range of occupational therapy activities, both hospital and community based.
The client strives to provide high quality care to all of our patients and have maintained a rating of Outstanding in all five areas by the CQC since August 2019.
Seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join a team of 4.7 consultants.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to patients wellbeing. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
Taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews and the development of a therapeutic milieu
Fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
You must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry or Rehabilitation Psychiatry
Contribute to management meetings and clinical governance meetings for the services provided at the hospital, and contributing to the development of service strategy.
Contributing to in-house training programmes within the services and offering supervision to other members of the multi-disciplinary team, particularly junior medical staff.
Maintain CPD and re-validation requirements, as determined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists or other relevant statutory bodies.
