On Saturday 18 July, Athona Recruitment will take on Microdec in our second annual charity football match. Athona staff will be getting their kits on to raise funds for Guide Dogs, our nominated national charity this year.

This year, Brentwood Town FC has kindly lent us its pitch so we’re playing in style! The Brentwood Festival is going on right next door to the stadium so, if you’re at the festival, why not pop over and get a football fix in between acts?

There will be a BBQ, a bar, a raffle, games such as crossbar challenge and prizes after the match. We’re lucky to have England under-21s referee Andy Simmons refereeing for us, too.

Last year, the score was 5-1 to Athona and we raised £2,000 for charity. Can we do even better this year? Come along and find out!

Gates open at 1.30pm and tickets are £5 on the door (under-11s get in free).

Come on, Athona!
