After successfully developing Athona’s Medical division for seven years, Athona Recruitment is pleased to announce that Senior Business Development Manager, Richie Daysh will be moving over to join the Health and Nursing division.

Richie’s strong relationships with trusts and unparalleled knowledge of the market, set the teams up to further succeed. This comes at a great time for the teams having been awarded a place on the new National Clinical Staffing Framework for the NHS, and receiving platinum audit results in their recent HTE Framework audit.

Paul Springall, Operations Director for the two divisions said, “With our ambitious expansion plans, it was vital that we appointed the right person to promote and manage our relationships with NHS Trusts. Richie’s knowledge of the Frameworks is extensive, which, coupled with his contribution to the growth of the Medical division, made the decision for him to join the Nursing team very straightforward. Both myself and the team look forward to working with him.”

Richie Daysh said of his appointment, “After seven years on the Medical side of the business, I am thrilled to be moving over to work with our fantastic nursing team. Whilst I have immensely enjoyed my time working in Medical, I am extremely excited at the prospect of new challenges.”

Formed in 2013 in response to a demand for quality nursing professionals, Athona’s Nursing division continues to expand and develop its candidate offering and recruitment solutions.
