Position: General Adult Psychiatrist

Grade: Consultant

Location: South East

Job type: Permanent – Full time hours

Start date: ASAP, will accept a 3 months notice period.

Salary: £156,000 + Car Allowance

Are you a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist looking for an excellent new permanent role? This position will be working in an medium secure and low secure inpatient setting for a Private Hospital based in the South East. Consultant will be expected to cover 15 medium secure beds and 10 low secure beds, which both contain male as well as female patients. There will be support of a full multidisciplinary team with junior support and regular visiting GP’s. The proposed start date is as soon as possible but a 3 months’ notice period is also feasible.

To be considered you’ll need a full GMC license to practice in the UK, 3 years’ experience in Psychiatry and at least 6 months experience of working on a General Adult ward. Section 12 approval would be desired but is not essential.
