We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a CAMHS Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist working for a private Service based in Hampshire. This is a full-time role, covering 12 CAMHS ED beds.

Salary: £160,000 per annum + £8.4k car allowance

Position: CAMHS ED Consultant Psychiatrist

Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Setting: 12 CAMHS ED beds.

Location: Hampshire

For this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
  • Conduct Admission assessment and ensure effective management plans
  • Conduct risk assessment and review regularly
  • Allocate specialist psychological treatments
  • Assess physical health
  • Ensuring effective liaison with referring/community teams, specialists and Commissioners

For this role, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practice
  • Experience of CAMHS eating disorders desirable
