Location: South West England

Job type: Locum – Full Time/Flexible

Job Description

Are you an experienced Associate Specialist ready to act up, or a Consultant looking for an exciting new locum position? We’re working with an outstanding NHS Trust in the South West of England who is looking for an individual with a full GMC registration, enhanced DBS and experience working in a CAMHS setting specialising in Eating Disorders.

The role will be working in an all age eating disorders service, but the role will be with CAMHS. The service has 2 other substantive Consultants and one of them is the clinical director for Eating Disorders Provider Collaborative.

The role is with 3 days on site.

The Trust also have a requirement within Forensic CAMHS (if the candidate has experience and expertise in this field and would be okay to do consultative work – no direct contact with CYP/family but offer consultations and supervision to Community CAMHS cases as well as support the Clinical Psychologist and Team OT who are currently offering a reduced service) – this would be for 1 or 2 PA.

The Trust would consider CAMHS Eating disorder and Forensic CAMHS consultations to be done in the 3 days to allow 2 free days for the candidate to work elsewhere.

If the candidate wants full time work then there would be opportunity to get 2 to 4 PA in core/generic CAMHS within the service.

The South West of England is primarily a rural region with a coastline that runs along the Bristol Channel and English Channel. Home to cheddar cheese, Devon cream teas, Cornish pasties and the Eden Project, the South West of England is a very popular destination to visit with plenty to do major cities to visit such as Bristol and Bath.
