Job Description
Are you a clinical psychologist looking for an exciting new locum position? We’re working with an outstanding NHS Trust in Nottingham who is looking for an individual with HCPC registration to provide a clinical psychology service to adults with intellectual disabilities in the community.
You will lead in the development, delivery and evaluation of psychological interventions with adults with ID and complex presentations. This may include the delivery of direct individual or group interventions, and indirect consultation and reflective teams’ sessions.
In addition, provide management and/or clinical supervision to qualified, trainee and Assistant Psychologists as delegated by the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist and continue to develop highly specialist clinical and professional skills.
There is a requirement of a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar setting and experience in delivering and interpreting neuropsychological tests, lecturing/teaching/training psychologists as well as supervision of trainee psychologists.
The ideal candidate will have recent NHS experience, enhanced DBS and must have right to work in the UK as well as a Doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology.
