Rates:
Day £25.00
Night/Saturday £28.00
Sunday £32.00
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Community Nurse to join the team at St Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in a community setting, working closely with patients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Administering medications (oral, SC, IM, insulin)
✔️ Palliative care management, including syringe drivers & symptom control
✔️ Catheter care (male, female, suprapubic)
✔️ IV therapy & wound/leg ulcer management
✔️ Supporting CHC assessments & Doppler training (desirable but not essential)
What We’re Looking For:
✅ NMC Registered Nurse (Band 5)
✅ Experience in community nursing
✅ Full UK driving license & own vehicle (essential)
✅ A compassionate and proactive approach to patient care
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive community team while enjoying the stunning surroundings of the Isle of Wight.
To be considered for this role you need a minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years.
Qualification and experienced is preferable.
