Job title: Community Registered General Nurse
Band: Band 5
Location: Thurrock Essex
Hours: Ad-hoc basis, choice of shifts but need to be flexible, day/late/night shifts
Rates: £23 per hour
To be considered for this role you need a minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years.
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Community Registered General Nurse looking for agency shifts in the Thurrock area? We’re working with an outstanding NHS Trust to recruit an individual who would like to work a full time contract for a minimum of 3 months. You will work within the team Monday – Sunday 09.00-17.00 on a weekly basis for a Community Nursing Team who provide excellent care based in patients homes.
Candidates will need the below skill set:
- Medicine Management
- Syringe driver care and medicine
- End of Life Care
- Diabetes care/Insulin administration
- Trauma wounds
- Surgical wounds
- Pressure Ulcer care
- Initial assessments.
- Recent Anaphylaxis Training
- Male, suprapubic and female catheterisation- care of and insertion.
Successful candidates will need:
- 6 months NHS experience working as a RGN.
- Enhanced DBS
- Must be a car driver
- Community experience desirable but not essential
