We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a General Adult Associate Specialist to work for a private service based in Cheshire. This is a full-time role, where you will work closely with the unit’s multidisciplinary team, including the Consultant, to ensure that patients receive a holistic and person-centric treatment programme based on the recovery model.

Salary: £85,000 per annum

Position: General Adult Associate Specialist

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Setting: Female acute ward

Location: Cheshire

For this role, you will be responsible for:

As an Associate Specialist here, you will ensure the high quality first-line medical care of our inpatients, liaise effectively with external professionals and carers, provide written and oral evidence for Hospital Managers’ and Tribunal hearings, work towards safe discharges, and be a valued and effective member of the multidisciplinary team here

For this role, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • Full GMC registration
  • Experience working in psychiatry within multidisciplinary teams
  • To be in good standing for CPD with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • To be linked in with an appraisal process within the last year
  • At least 3 years’ experience in psychiatry
  • Experience working as a doctor within similar environment
