We have an exciting new Locum Forensic Consultant role available at the moment based in Yorkshire.
Setting: This is a forensic role that is required to start ASAP, AC/ section 12 approved to join the forensic outreach team. This is a team of 6 excellent qualified nurses and a recovery worker. The team is supported by a forensic social work team. The caseload includes about 50 male patients. The role includes outpatient clinics, home visits, managing patients on conditional discharge and community treatment orders and assessing referrals to the team stepping down from secure services. There is a strong culture of using trauma informed principles and formulation to guide risk management. Peer support from inpatient consultants.
Hours: The role is Full time Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Dates: To start ASAP in an ongoing position
Rates: Can be negotiated to your preference
Requirements for this role include:
- Full GMC registration with a full license to practise
- Section 12 is essential
- Fully clear DBS
