We have an exciting new Locum Forensics Consultant role available at the moment based in Wales.
Setting: The Consultant required to work in our Forensic Medium Secure Unit based in Wales. The post is full time, 10 sessions.
Clinical duties will include comprehensive assessment of referrals, leadership of MDT, working to the requirements of the MH (Wales) Measure.
Clinical supervision and practice development of medical, nursing and other staff. Provision of specialist forensic assessment from the Courts, MAPPA and NOMS.
Provide specialist forensic assessments and consultation advice to CMHTs and acute inpatient services in North Wales.
The Consultant team work to a model such that each has primary responsibility for a caseload within the inpatient provision
Hours: The role is Full time Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Dates: To start ASAP in an ongoing position
Rates: Can be negotiated to your preference
Requirements for this role include:
- Full GMC registration with a full license to practise
- Section 12 is essential
- AC essential
- Fully clear DBS
