We have an exciting new Locum Learning Difficulties Consultant role available at the moment based in Wales.

Setting: In this role you will develop, maintain and deliver the necessary evidence based interventions in a range of community settings to enable adults with learning disability to lead fulfilling lives. Will contribute to risk assessment and management Will be part of, and provide clinical leadership to the Community Learning Disability Team, working in community and outpatient settings. Will provide Consultant and Responsible Medical Officer services to patients admitted to the Hergest acute psychiatric units from the Gwynedd area. The post holder will work within the legislative arrangements of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010.

Hours: The role is Full time Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

Dates: To start ASAP in an ongoing position

Rates: Can be negotiated to your preference

Requirements for this role include:

  • Full GMC registration with a full license to practise
  • Section 12 is essential
  • Fully clear DBS
