Job Description
Currently we have excellent opportunities for experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultants to join leading public hospital services across Australia. These roles span metropolitan, regional, and coastal centres, offering diverse obstetric and gynaecology caseloads, excellent multidisciplinary support, and highly competitive remuneration. Granted private practice rights can substantially increase overall earnings.
Salary: Up to $450,000 AUD Inclusive of super + allowances + private practice scheme (£220,000)
Position: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Hours: Full-time
Setting: Labour ward, theatres, antenatal/postnatal clinics, emergency cover
Location: Australia-wide
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Provide consultant-led obstetric and gynaecological care
- Deliver elective and emergency surgical services
- Participate in on-call and labour ward rosters
- Supervise and teach junior doctors and trainees
- Lead multidisciplinary collaboration and governance
- Drive clinical quality and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in research, audit, and professional development
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- On specialist register by CCT and MRCOG
- Strong O&G experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
