Currently we have an excellent opportunity to deliver consultant-led O&G across a busy coastal service one hour north of Sydney, with full-spectrum obstetrics and elective/emergency gynaecology. Granted private practice rights significantly enhance total remuneration..
Salary: Up to $450,000 AUD Inclusive of super + allowances + private practice scheme (£220,000)
Position: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Hours: Full-time
Setting: Labour ward, theatres, antenatal/postnatal clinics, emergency cover
Location: Greater Sydney – Central Coast
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Consultant cover for labour ward and obstetric emergencies
- Elective and emergency gynaecological surgery
- Antenatal, postnatal, and general gynaecology clinics
- Lead MDT decision-making and clinical governance
- Supervise registrars, RMOs, and medical students
- Participate in on-call and escalation pathways
- Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- On specialist register by CCT and MRCOG
- Strong O&G experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
