Job Description
Currently we have an excellent opportunity to provide consultant-led O&G in a major Western Sydney/Blue Mountains catchment, approx. one hour west of Sydney, with high-volume obstetrics and broad gynaecology exposure. Granted private practice rights significantly enhance total remuneration.
Salary: Up to $450,000 AUD Inclusive of super + allowances + private practice scheme (£220,000)
Position: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Hours: Full-time
Setting: Labour ward, theatres, antenatal/postnatal clinics, emergency cover
Location: Greater Western Sydney / Blue Mountains (approx. 1 hour west)
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Consultant leadership on labour ward and delivery suite
- Emergency obstetrics and operative delivery
- Elective and emergency gynaecology theatre lists
- Outpatient antenatal and gynaecology clinics
- Supervision of registrars and junior doctors
- Participation in on-call roster
- Quality improvement and service development
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- On specialist register by CCT and MRCOG
- Strong O&G experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
