At Athona, we’re looking for a Sales Support to join our Psychiatry team and play a key role in supporting our Recruitment Consultants while helping drive business success.

What you’ll be doing
As a Sales Support, you’ll be at the heart of our recruitment operation, helping to source, manage, and support candidates while providing vital administrative and sales support to the wider team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
· Sourcing and attracting high-quality candidates that match team and business requirements
· Building and managing a strong pipeline of candidates ready for placement
· Supporting Recruitment Consultants to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
· Using proactive candidate attraction strategies including headhunting and outreach
· Coordinating with the Compliance team to ensure candidates meet all necessary standards
· Managing candidate allocation processes fairly and efficiently
· Supporting the wider sales effort with a clear commercial mindset
· Delivering outstanding candidate experience and customer service
· Gathering feedback from candidates to improve processes and relationships
· Staying organised, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-moving environment
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is driven, resilient, and confident working in a target-based role.
You’ll ideally have:
· Sourcing new candidates and building a strong pipeline of talent
· Reviewing CVs and identifying high-quality candidates suitable for placements
· Supporting Recruitment Consultants with active and working candidates
· Managing sales administration, including accommodation bookings, confirmations, interviews, timesheet chasing, and checklists
· Making outbound calls confidently to candidates and clients
· Sending mailshots and campaigns to attract new candidates
· Maintaining and cleansing the database to ensure records remain accurate and up to date
· Sourcing candidate availability and supporting placement readiness
· Managing and updating the “hot candidates” list
· Overseeing portal management, including adding timesheets, sending CVs, and booking candidates
· Advertising live vacancies and ensuring job adverts remain fresh, accurate, and non-repetitive
· Providing cover and support for team members during annual leave or absences
· Answering incoming calls promptly to ensure candidates and clients receive timely responses
· Attending candidate visits and networking opportunities to build relationships and strengthen pipelines
· Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the recruitment process
· Supporting the wider team with a proactive, organised, and positive approach
