Job Description

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting new locum position? We’re working with an outstanding school based in London who is looking for an individual with with HCPC registration, recent NHS experience, enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK.

Our client is an Independent Day School for children with Specific Learning Difficulties including ASD, ADHD, dyspraxia and sensory processing disorder, aged 5-19. The school delivers holistic and integrated programmes of education, therapy and personal development for its students such as Life Skills.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary therapy team including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, a physiotherapist and working closely with teaching staff. The School has an integrated therapy model and within this the occupational therapists work with both individual pupils and whole class groups within the classroom. The caseload is varied, and you have the opportunity to be dynamic in order to ensure positive outcomes for all students based on evidence based practice principles.

Staff receive regular supervision, support through attendance at weekly therapy meetings and opportunities for CPD.
