Role: Support worker
Location: Camden
Salary: £26,037
Hours: 37.5hrs a week
Shifts: Early and Late Shifts, Rolling Rota – every other weekend. (Early shift 7:30-3:30pm, Late shift 12:30pm-8:30pm)
The Role
Athona has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the team in the position of Support Worker in Hackney. This position is in a young person’s service which accommodate and support up to 60 young people aged 16 to 24yrs with various complex needs including young vulnerable parents and their babies/children. Our young people are from disadvantaged backgrounds and are on low incomes which has an impact on them financially. We aim to provide them with the skills and tools that they need to live independently, we run workshops including cooking sessions, budgeting meetings with a financial advisor, training and employment skills sessions and groups with guest speakers on a weekly basis.
