Two form entry junior school in North London is seeking an experienced SEND/SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them in September.
This lovely school is based in the heart of a residential area of North London, with good links to public transport and parking available.
The Headteacher, who has been at the school for many years, has a strong determination to continually strive for even higher standards and has a dedicated team in place to help achieve this.
The school requires an experienced teaching assistant with special education experience. You will be predominately working with children with Autism (ASD) and also emotional and behavioural issues (EBD) and will be working on a 1:1 basis and also with small groups. There is some flexibility in the year group, depending on the school requirements and where possible, your preferences. Please note that the children do not have extreme behavioural issues, but they do respond well when they have firm boundaries given.
