Are you a primary teacher seeking a role in a lovely school for September?
Athona Education is working with a great primary school in Barnet which requires a full time teacher to start in September. Led by an inspiring and dedicated Headteacher and an experienced leadership team, you will be joining a great school and will have the chance to work in a lovely environment. The school is close to public transport and also has staff parking and plays a key role in the local community. There are 50+ languages spoken by children who attend the school and the school uses the brilliant variety of background as a valuable opportunity for learning.
The school is seeking a key stage 2 teacher for at least the academic year 2019/20 and the role is likely to become permanent. There is some flexibility about the actual year group available and the school will always try to fit in with your preferences, where possible.
This teaching job is open to both experienced teachers and also newly qualified teachers (NQT). The school has a very good record of supporting NQTs through induction year and you will be assigned a mentor, usually a member of the school leadership team.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are an qualified teacher, either experienced, or a newly qualified teacher. You should have a strong team ethic as you will be working closely with your year group partners with planning each week and have a cheerful and engaging approach to working with children. The school enjoys a very positive atmosphere and behaviour at the school is generally very good.
if you are interested in applying for this role, please contact me as soon as possible as the school are shortlisting applicants shortly after the Easter break.
If this is not quite the right role for you, please contact me for details of other roles that I have available for September.
Athona Education also has a “refer a friend” scheme, where we reward you for suggesting qualified friends/colleagues to us. Please get in touch for more information.
