Athona Education is working with a primary school in Camden, North London, which is seeking a supply teacher to start in September.
– Supply Teacher
– Good school in North London
– Good environment with a very supportive senior leadership team
This is a good school with very good transport links. Two form entry, the school has a lovely Headteacher and a very good leadership team, committed to making the school “outstanding” (they are graded as good at the moment).
They are seeking a brilliant teacher to join the team as an in-house supply teacher. You will usually have a set timetable each week, but where there are teachers who require covering due to sickness / courses etc, you will need to be adaptable and ready to teach where required.
The school would ideally like to appoint a teacher for a 0.6 role (3 days per week) and if any further cover is needed, you would be their first option. Days are flexible, but fixed days would be agreed before the role starts. If there are occasions where you are not required, Athona Education would be able to offer you supply teaching work in one of the many other schools that we assist with their staffing.
The role is due to start in September and likely to continue for the whole of the following academic year.
The school will consider experienced and newly qualified teachers (NQT) for this role.
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
– be a qualified teacher with QTS
– have a flexible, adaptable approach and be comfortable with teaching children from Nursery to Year 6
– be an excellent communicator
