PPA Teacher

This is a brilliant PPA teaching opportunity and a chance to take on a role and make it your own and to join a successful team in a great school.

Athona Education is working with a school in a lovely, residential area of Southend, which is seeking a full time PPA teacher to start after Easter 2019. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to teach whole classes, spanning across EYFS to Key Stage 2. You will be confident in teaching all abilities and be able to devise schemes of work and differentiate for varying levels within the class; including gifted and talented children. This PPA teacher position is on a full time basis starting after Easter until the end of the academic year with the possibility to go permanent from September 2019.

The successful applicant is expected to:

 Qualifications – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
 Effectively teach Key Stage 1 – 2 curriculum to the highest standards.
 Assess and mark pupils work, monitoring progression levels.
 Deliver fun and engaging lessons that also challenge and develop learning.
 Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff members.
 Be committed to the schools objectives and teach in line with their ethos.
