Athona is pleased to announce it has recently been awarded Quality Mark status, highlighting a commitment to the highest possible standards in the education recruitment market.

The Quality Mark was launched in 2002, as a joint initiative between the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Recruitment and Employment Federation (REC), to help improve and drive standards within the sector. It sets minimum standards for recruitment agencies and Local Authorities to reach in the way they recruit and interview supply teachers, the way they check and manage performance and the way they stay at the forefront of changes in the education marketplace.

Jeanette Holder, Education Business Manager for Athona comments:

“This accolade represents our commitment to striving towards and maintaining high standards and will help open the door to new contract opportunities, creating a wider selection of vacancies for our candidates. I am delighted for Athona to be awarded Quality Mark status and it’s a true testament of the hard work and effort contributed by our employees.”
