Tailored Support For You

In January 2020 we hosted our first ever Advisory Board with a group of our healthcare candidates to find out how we could be better supporting them on their career journeys. In April 2021 we held the first of our follow up events, to ensure we are continuing to do all that we can to offer the best tailored support for our candidates. A number of ideas and discussions were raised in these meetings including training, discounts and more, which we have started working on.After receiving feedback our candidates would be interested in attending CPD accredited training provided by us, we looked to become CPD accredited ourselves. We are now pleased to announce that we have been approved as an official member of CPDUK and are able to run CPD accredited courses. Our most recent Advisory Board was worth up to 3 CPD points for every attendee, and we’re currently in the process of starting to plan more training where CPD points are available. We have partnered with financial specialists Wesleyan to deliver free, CPD accredited webinars, presented by their knowledgeable financial consultants. Since December 2020 we have covered topics including mortgages, pensions, IR35, investments & more. Hosted live on a weekday evening, they are informative and engaging with Q&A sections and are recorded to ensure you can rewatch, or watch at a better time to suit you if you can't attend live. See what’s coming up next and register to attend here. We've partnered with The Healthcare Workers' Foundation; a charity committed to protecting the welfare and wellbeing of healthcare workers across the UK. HWF have launched an online platform, Healthchain, enabling access to a growing number of free initiatives, including childcare support grants, counselling sessions & wellbeing room support. Members can also claim a free Ally face cover on sign up! Use your NHS email* to join Healthchain today. *If you don't have an NHS email, please contact Athona. We know obtaining 360 degree feedback can be a challenging process for doctors, so we felt Edgecumbe’s Doctor 360 was a great product to offer a discount on. We've partnered to offer reduced rates on all their colleague and patient feedback packages, which include use of a new user-friendly system with remote patient feedback functionality. Doctors can obtain feedback via iPad, or can ask a team member to send the patient a link after their consultation. This new technology solution overcomes the issue of paper based feedback, and is a much smoother and quicker process. Find the discount code here. Our partnership with Oxford Medical offers you an exclusive 10% discount on all of their courses and books. They run in person and virtual and online courses, with lots of course options to choose from including consultant interview preparation, advanced communication skills, medical leadership, management and much more. They also offer a vast range of books which provide in-depth information on the same range of career-development topics as their courses, which you can also get 10% off of.
