As part of Athona Recruitment’s Employee Engagement Programme, Derek Redmond, one of the world’s most inspirational athletes turned motivational speakers, was recruited to come and speak to the Athona team.
Derek’s shown true dedication to his career through numerous athletic accolades, titles and gold medals. He is a two-time Olympian, a World Champion 4x400m Relay 1991, World Silver Medallist 1987 and two-times British 400m record breaker. Not to mention the regular TV appearances on Eurosport and Sky News.
Derek’s story was inspirational as he provided us with an insight into the mind of a world class athlete and the team gave some great feedback:
