Speech & Language Therapist – CYP Neurodevelopment Services
Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join a growing children and young people’s neurodevelopmental service in Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people through neurodevelopmental and autism assessment pathways. You will work collaboratively with professionals across psychology, occupational therapy and psychiatry, providing high-quality clinical input and recommendations to children, young people and their families.
The service delivers CYP healthcare across both private healthcare and NHS pathways and is continuing to expand its multidisciplinary team.
Salary: Up to £56,000 FTE, depending on experience
Position: Speech & Language Therapist
Hours: Full-time or Part-time
Setting: CYP Neurodevelopmental Services
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Support neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.
- Contribute to autism assessment pathways within a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide specialist Speech & Language Therapy clinical input and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with psychology, occupational therapy and psychiatry professionals.
- Support children, young people and families throughout their assessment journey.
- Contribute to high-quality, evidence-based clinical decision-making.
- Maintain effective communication with families and wider professionals.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Experience within neurodevelopmental services.
- Autism or ADHD assessment experience is desirable.
- ADOS-2 experience is desirable.
- Candidates with strong CYP experience who are keen to develop their neurodevelopmental assessment experience are encouraged to apply.
