Job Title: Band 8C Consultant Clinical Health Psychologist

Description
We are currently seeking a Band 8C Consultant Clinical Health Psychologist for our NHS client in Birmingham. This is a 12-week full-time block booking with the potential for further extension.
The post is due to start ASAP and will involve working Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, across clinical settings in Birmingham.
Job Role
Deliver Psychological Services commensurate with post-graduate Doctorate level training, alongside further specialist training and experience.
Provide specialist Clinical Health Psychology services within Adult and Specialist Rehabilitation services.
Work across inpatient, outpatient and community settings as agreed with the Divisional Lead Consultant Psychologist.
Ensure the systematic provision of high-quality specialist Clinical Health Psychological Services to people under the care of the Adult and Specialist Rehabilitation Division.
Provide services across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
Supervise and support psychological assessment, therapy and interventions provided by other psychologists and clinical members of the team.
Support overall clinical, professional and strategic governance for Clinical Health Psychology services.
Work collaboratively with the Divisional Lead Consultant Psychologist to support effective service delivery and governance.
Essential for the role
Post-graduate Doctorate level training in Clinical Psychology.
Relevant specialist training and experience within Clinical Health Psychology.
Experience providing specialist psychological services within inpatient, outpatient and/or community settings.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience supervising and supporting psychologists and other clinical team members.
Strong clinical, professional and strategic governance experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across different clinical settings.
Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00.
