Job Description
Athona Nursing is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join the inpatient Team NHS Trust at Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking for a block booking within a friendly and supportive clinical environment.
The nurse-led inpatient ward cares for patients who require rehabilitation or medical optimisation following step-down from acute hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within an inpatient setting.
Support patients requiring rehabilitation and medical optimisation.
Monitor patients’ conditions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies and procedures.
Requirements
Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
Previous experience working in an inpatient setting.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a nurse-led team.
