Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)

Description
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to work with our NHS client within a Senior Community Mental Health Team in Essex.
This is a 12-week placement with an ASAP start. The working pattern is Monday to Wednesday, 09:00–17:00, with a half day on Thursday.
Job Role
Take responsibility for duty cover as the designated duty person of the day.
Assess service users’ care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
Support service users referred to the team for assessment and treatment.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals.
Maintain standards of care within the specialist community mental health team.
Participate in the training and education of staff seconded to the service.
Help ensure an integrated assessment and treatment service is provided to clients.
Promote effective interdisciplinary working and maintain a positive team environment.
Essential for the role
Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Relevant experience in community mental health services.
Experience assessing care needs and developing care plans.
Ability to undertake duty responsibilities and respond to service users’ needs.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication, organisational and clinical assessment skills.
Commitment to maintaining professional standards and high-quality patient care.
Availability to start ASAP for 12 weeks.
Availability to work Monday to Wednesday, 09:00–17:00, and a half day on Thursday.
