Job Title: Band 7 Mental Health Nurse
Location: West London
Salary: £32 Per Hour
Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Mental Health Nurse to work with our NHS client in West London.
The successful candidate will work three days per week within GP practices, providing mental health nursing support and working collaboratively with primary care professionals to support patients with mental health needs.
This role is due to start on 26 October 2026 and is scheduled to run until 31 December 2026.
Job Role
Provide mental health nursing support within GP practices.
Support the assessment and management of patients presenting with mental health needs.
Contribute to care planning and appropriate onward referrals.
Work collaboratively with primary care professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
Promote effective communication between primary care and specialist mental health services.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred mental health care.
Essential for the role
Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Relevant experience working within mental health services.
Experience supporting patients in community or primary care settings.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with GP practices and multidisciplinary teams.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Availability to work three days per week for the duration of the assignment.
