Job Overview
Athona Nursing is currently recruiting for a Band 5 Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join the Theatre Department at NHS Trust in Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ODP seeking a block booking with a mixture of shifts in a hospital theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey.
Support the theatre team during surgical procedures.
Assist with anaesthetic, surgical and recovery duties in line with your competencies and experience.
Maintain patient safety and follow infection prevention and control procedures.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective theatre operations.
Essential Requirements
Current HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner.
Relevant experience within a theatre setting.
Flexibility to work a mixture of shifts.
Excellent communication, teamwork and patient care skills.
