Job Title: Band 5 Palliative Care Nurse
Location: Essex
Rate: £28 – £38 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Contract: Ongoing
Working Hours: 24 hour rota – days, nights and weekends
Description:
We are looking for highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our clients specialist Inpatient Unit Nursing Team; with the introduction of a new skill mix in staff developed to meet the increasing complexities of patient needs. The inpatient unit provides holistic care for patients with both malignant and non-malignant life limiting illnesses and their families/carers. This includes excellent symptom control, psycho-social and spiritual support for patients and end of life care; we are also aspiring to provide care for patients with complex nursing needs such as non-invasive ventilation.

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate:
– Previous palliative / end of life care experience
– Inpatient unit experience
– Have a smartcard and SystemOne knowledge
– Available for an immediate start
– Offer flexible availability across long days, nights and weekends.
