Job Description
Athona Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to work within a specialist care setting supporting adults with dementia, mental health needs and complex healthcare requirements.
The service provides 24-hour person-centred care within a safe and supportive environment. Nurses will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with complex needs
Supporting individuals with dementia and mental health conditions
Assessing, planning and evaluating individual care needs
Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
Monitoring residents’ physical and mental health
Working closely with HCAs and the wider multidisciplinary team
Promoting dignity, independence and person-centred care
Responding appropriately to changes in residents’ health and wellbeing
About You
We are looking for Band 5 RMNs who have:
Current NMC registration
Previous experience in mental health, dementia or complex care
Strong clinical and communication skills
A compassionate and person-centred approach
The ability to work confidently within a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to work day and night shifts
