Job Title: Band 6 Community Learning Disabilities Registered Nurse

Description
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Learning Disabilities Registered Nurse to work with our NHS client in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to join the Learning Disabilities team and provide support to service users.
The role is available for an ASAP start through to December, working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.
Candidates must be able to commit to travelling to the base/site location.
Job Role
Provide nursing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.
Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support service users’ needs.
Contribute to appropriate care planning and delivery.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards and Trust policies.
Support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.
Communicate effectively with service users, families, carers and relevant professionals.
Travel to the required base/site location as part of the role.
Essential for the role
Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
Relevant experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to maintain accurate clinical records.
Commitment to person-centred care and professional standards.
Ability to travel to the required base/site location.
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, from an ASAP start through to December.
