We have an exciting opportunity for a RMN to work with an HMP in Redditch. This full-time locum position is based in a Redditch, with proposed working hours of 37.5 hours a week – 0800 til 1600 Monday to Friday
The role is set to begin 1st August and will last for 3 months offering an hourly rate of £27 Per Hour Please note that this position is inside IR35
To be eligible, you must have mental health experience working as a staff nurse in a Prison. Along with this Prison clearance will be essential for this role so please state this on your submission CV and what category you have.
Responsible for:
Provision of mental health interventions to Service Users within the prison establishment across wellbeing, primary and secondary mental health.
This will involve being responsible for managing their own caseload, including assessments, care planning, delivering interventions and reviewing care of patients located within the prison with a mental illness, within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team and Care Programme Approach.
Post holders are expected to work as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team to provide advice and support to primary health care based within the prison and to liaise with, and provide advice and support to statutory and non-statutory agencies.
To provide specialist mental health interventions to service users in the prison.
