Job Title: Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to work with our NHS client. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist physiotherapist to provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
The role is for 8 weeks, working 30 hours per week across 4 days.
Job Role
Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and differential diagnoses for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Deliver evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation interventions.
Independently manage a varied musculoskeletal caseload.
Identify red flags and take appropriate action where required.
Develop individualised rehabilitation programmes tailored to patients’ needs.
Make appropriate onward referrals to other healthcare professionals or services.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support effective patient care.
Essential for the role
Current HCPC registration.
Experience as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
Strong clinical assessment and differential diagnosis skills.
Experience delivering evidence-based treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
Ability to independently manage a varied MSK caseload.
Competence in identifying red flags and making appropriate onward referrals.
Ability to develop individualised rehabilitation programmes.
Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Availability to work 30 hours per week across 4 days for 8 weeks.
