Job Title: Band 7 Children’s Speech and Language Therapist
Specialty: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy – Dysphagia
Location: West London
Salary: £32 Per Hour
Description
We are currently seeking a Band 7 Children’s Speech and Language Therapist with specialist dysphagia experience to work with our NHS client in West London. This position is Monday to Friday 0900 til 1700.
This is an opportunity for an experienced paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with specialist skills in working with neonates and children under one year of age. Please note this position is inside IR35
Job Role
Provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention for neonates and children under one year of age.
Support children with feeding, swallowing and dysphagia needs.
Deliver appropriate specialist assessment and management of dysphagia.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers and the multidisciplinary team to support children’s clinical needs.
Contribute to effective care planning and provide specialist advice as required.
Essential for the role
Relevant professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
Current HCPC registration.
Band 7-level experience or equivalent specialist clinical experience.
Specialist experience working with neonates and children under one year of age.
Proven experience in paediatric dysphagia assessment and management.
Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
