Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN) to join a specialist secure mental health service supporting adults with complex mental health needs and continuing challenging behaviour. This leadership role offers the opportunity to influence clinical excellence, support service transformation, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient pathways and outcomes.

Salary: £44,183 per annum

Position: Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN)

Hours: Full Time

Setting: Specialist Secure Mental Health Service

Location: Workington, Cumbria

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Lead clinical initiatives across secure mental health services.
  • Support nursing governance and quality improvement.
  • Promote high standards of clinical practice.
  • Develop efficient clinical and operational systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Support pathway transformation and discharge planning.
  • Drive safe, person-centred care delivery.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Three years’ post-registration experience.
  • Two years’ senior operational experience.
  • Previous management or leadership experience.
  • Passion for clinical excellence and service improvement.
