Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join an established cancer service in Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician with broad clinical oncology experience to contribute to the delivery of high-quality cancer care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the wider development of oncology services.

This is an agency recruitment opportunity for substantive or fixed-term appointment.

Salary: £113,565-£150,569 per annum

Position: Consultant Clinical Oncologist

Hours: Full-time; less-than-full-time arrangements may be considered

Setting: NHS Acute Hospital / Secondary Care

Location: Derby, East Midlands

Contract: Substantive / Fixed Term

Your key responsibilities will be;

• Deliver high-quality specialist clinical oncology services.
• Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Share clinical responsibilities with colleagues across the oncology service.
• Contribute to treatment planning and ongoing cancer management.
• Support service development and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in teaching and professional development activities.
• Contribute to research and evidence-based clinical practice.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

• FRCR or equivalent qualification.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• GMC Specialist Register entry or eligibility for specialist registration.
• Clinical training equivalent to UK CCT in Clinical Oncology.
• Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams and research.
