Job Description
Currently we have an excellent opportunity to join a well-established secure service providing specialist care for adult women with complex mental health needs within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.
Salary: Up to £170,000
Position: Consultant Psychiatrist
Hours: Full Time
Setting: Female LSU
Location: Warrington
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Deliver psychiatric care and treatment for adult female patients
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary care planning
- Undertake assessments and determine appropriate treatment pathways
- Provide evidence for tribunals and hearings
- Engage with external stakeholders and case managers
- Contribute to service development and governance processes
- Maintain continuous professional development and learning
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- Full GMC registration and Royal College membership
- Specialist Register in forensic or general adult psychiatry
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Experience in secure mental health settings
- Strong communication and leadership skills
