Our client is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide clinical leadership across our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Older Adults Acute Mental Health Ward. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of two vital services within a progressive and forward-thinking organisation.

As a visible and influential presence, you will collaborate closely with operational and clinical leaders, guiding the strategic development of both services to ensure they remain safe, effective, and responsive to the diverse needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide clinical leadership to a talented multidisciplinary team, ensuring delivery of evidence-based, best-practice treatment.
· Oversee a defined patient caseload, delivering exceptional psychiatric care across the hospital.
· Work in partnership with senior management and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, high-quality services.
· Mentor and support fellow Consultant Psychiatrists through clinical supervision, appraisal, and revalidation.
· Champion a culture of professional development, innovation, and continuous learning.
· Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, research, and CPD activities.

Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold and maintain registration with the GMC, including being listed on the relevant Specialist Register, with evidence of registration provided upon request to the Hospital Director or Group Medical Officer. Additionally, the consultant will possess a CCST/CCT (or equivalent).
Working Hours
· Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
