We are looking for a Deputy Ward Manager to lead a nursing team and provide high-quality care and support to people with within a Mental Health private hospital within Essex.

Duties:
Responsible of a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, their families and visitors.
Apply relevant policies and statutory requirements within the ward and hospital framework of governance and communicates requirements to the wider team.
Ensure that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and that statutory requirements are met.
Supervises a defined group of team members and contributes to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team.
This will also include addressing any performance issues that are below the expected standard.
Essential:
- A relevant nursing qualification
- NMC registration
- Worked as a senior nurse in a previous position.
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
Annual salary of £43,000 to £46,000
