Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiologist to join a leading imaging service delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional care across acute, elective, inpatient and outpatient settings. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate imaging, timely reporting and specialist interventional procedures while contributing to service development, quality improvement and exceptional patient care.

Position: Diagnostic & Interventional Radiologist

Hours: Full Time

Setting: Hospital Imaging Service

Location: Multiple Locations, New Zealand

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound and general radiology imaging.
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures within your specialist scope.
  • Deliver timely, accurate and clinically relevant imaging reports.
  • Support acute and elective inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical decision-making.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
  • Participate in on-call services where required.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

  • Fellowship or equivalent specialist radiology qualification.
  • Eligibility for Medical Council of New Zealand registration.
  • Diagnostic and/or interventional radiology experience.
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient-centred care.
