Job Title: Full time/Part Time Band 7 -Psychologist

Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a psychologist to work with an NHS Trust in Birmingham. This full-time or Part-Time locum position is based in Birmingham, with proposed working hours of 37.5 hours a week if full time.
The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for 12 weeks initially offering an hourly rate of £32 Per Hour Please note that this position is inside IR35
Job Role:
To deliver a Clinical Psychology Service commensurate with a Post Graduate Doctoral level of training.
To provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children presenting with neurodevelopmental needs, across all sectors of care within the Birmingham catchment area.
To provide specialist psychological diagnosis, assessment and therapy at the same time as
offering advice and consultation on children’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues
and to other non professional carers, working autonomously within professionals guidelines
and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the Psychology team members.
To be accountable for the direct delivery of clinical services to children, their families and carers.
To be eligible, you must have Assistant Psychologist experience previous experience within a similar role is required. Must be able to reliably commute to and work from Birmingham as there is no working from home. Would also need to be able to start ASAP.
