Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare service in New Zealand, providing specialist gastroenterology care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.

Setting: Public Hospital / Specialist Gastroenterology Service

Location: Multiple Locations, New Zealand

Your key responsibilities will be;

• Provide specialist gastroenterology assessment and treatment.
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Manage complex gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
• Support acute gastroenterology and on-call services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Contribute to teaching, research and service improvement.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

• Specialist Gastroenterology qualification or equivalent.
• Eligibility for Medical Council of New Zealand registration.
• Consultant-level gastroenterology experience.
• Strong diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
