Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner to join a supportive primary care service delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare within the community. Working within a collaborative practice team, you’ll provide comprehensive medical care across acute presentations, chronic disease management, preventative healthcare and ongoing patient support, while building trusted relationships with individuals, families and communities.

Your key responsibilities will be;

• Provide comprehensive primary care assessments and treatments.
• Manage acute, chronic and preventative healthcare needs.
• Develop trusted relationships with patients and communities.
• Deliver urgent care and appropriate clinical referrals.
• Coordinate care with secondary and community services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical education.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

• Eligibility for Medical Council of New Zealand registration.
• General Practice vocational registration or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering comprehensive primary care services.
• Strong communication and clinical judgement skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred community healthcare.
