Description:
Athona Nursing is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Health Visitor to work within the Health Visiting Service in Hounslow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Health Visitor to support children and families by delivering the Healthy Child Programme, promoting child development and ensuring safeguarding within the community.
Job Details:
Start Date: 5th October 2026
End Date: 20th January 2027
Contract: Temporary Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Part-time
Service: Health Visiting – Children & Families
Location: Hounslow Community Health
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
Specialist qualification in Health Visiting.
Previous experience working as a Health Visitor.
Experience delivering the Healthy Child Programme.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures within health visiting services.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
