Day: 07:00–19:30
Night: 19:30–07:00
Job Description
Athona Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work within a specialist residential nursing service supporting adults with dementia, mental health needs and complex healthcare requirements.
The service provides 24-hour care within a safe, comfortable and supportive environment, with a person-centred approach focused on dignity, independence and individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents
Supporting individuals with dementia and complex care needs
Assisting with activities of daily living
Promoting dignity, independence and choice
Supporting mobility and personal hygiene
Following individual care plans
Working effectively as part of the wider care team
Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents
We are looking for HCAs with:
Previous experience within a care home, nursing home, mental health or healthcare setting
Experience supporting individuals with dementia and/or complex needs
A caring, patient and compassionate approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work day and night shifts
